Planning with the assistant in a group chat
Add the BackIn5 assistant to a group conversation and it plans with all of you at once — keeping track of who wants what, and which decisions are actually settled.
Where to find it: Messages → a group conversation
Steps
- Add the assistant to the group — A Pro member attaches it. Its usage is billed to whoever added it, not to whoever happens to be typing.
- Mention it when you want it — Type "@" and pick BackIn5 from the member list. It only answers when mentioned, so normal conversation is left alone.
- Let everyone talk normally — As people suggest dates, destinations and budgets, the assistant records who proposed what and who agreed, without being asked.
- Ask where you have got to — It tracks six things — destination, where you are flying from, dates, length, budget and how many of you — and knows which are agreed and which are still disputed.
- Tap the options it offers — When it needs a decision it offers tappable choices rather than expecting someone to type an exact phrase back.
- Build and save the trip — Once enough is settled it generates the itinerary in the chat — with the same map, cost breakdown and flight and hotel cards as a one-to-one conversation — and the trip can be saved and attached to the group.

Frequently asked questions
Can the AI help a group plan together?
Yes. Add the BackIn5 assistant to a group conversation and it plans with everyone at once, tracking who proposed what and which decisions are settled.
Does the assistant read every message?
It answers only when mentioned with "@". Conversation it is not mentioned in is left alone.
Who pays for the assistant in a group?
The Pro member who added it. Other members do not need Pro to use it once it is there.
What happens if we disagree about dates?
It records the disagreement rather than silently picking one. It can tell you which parts of the plan are agreed and which are still contested.
