Selling guided trips as an agent, guide or creator
Travel agents, freelance guides and creators can publish a trip with a set number of seats at a price per seat, approve who comes, and manage the bookings in one place.
Where to find it: Guided trips
Steps
- Switch to a business account — Publishing a trip for sale is a business-account feature. Business accounts can also be verified, which is shown on the profile.
- Build the trip you intend to run — Plan it like any other itinerary first, so buyers can see the real day-by-day plan.
- Publish it with seats and a price — Set how many seats are available and the price per seat. The hotels in the trip are visible to buyers, so it is clear what they are paying for.
- Review booking requests — A request arrives as pending. Approving it confirms the seat and shares the trip with that traveller.
- Manage the bookings — The bookings table shows who has requested, who is confirmed and how many seats are left. You can reject a request or remove a confirmed seat if plans change.
- Track what you have published and booked — Separate lists cover trips you published and trips you have booked onto yourself.
Good to know
- Seats are held from the moment a request is made, so the count shown to buyers reflects pending requests as well as confirmed ones.
- A traveller can hold only one active seat per trip.
- Cancelled and rejected bookings are kept, so you keep a history of who came and who dropped out.
- Approving a request is what shares the itinerary — a buyer does not see the full plan before you confirm them.
Frequently asked questions
Can travel agents sell trips through BackIn5?
Yes. With a business account you can publish a trip with a set number of seats and a price per seat, and take booking requests against it.
Do I approve who books?
Yes. Requests arrive pending and you confirm or reject each one. Confirming is what shares the itinerary with that traveller.
What happens when a trip sells out?
Seats held by pending and confirmed bookings both count, so the trip stops accepting requests once they are taken.
Can someone book more than one seat?
A booking can cover several seats, but a traveller holds only one active booking per trip.
